Bright Minds, Bold Futures Event

Eugene Education Foundation (EEF) recently held its annual gala at the UO Ford Alumni Center. The Bright Minds, Bold Futures 2025 event celebrated the achievements of 4J educators and students while helping raise funds for the future.

EEF is a nonprofit organization that supports the Eugene School District 4J. EEF’s mission is to promote educational excellence and opportunities for all students in Eugene School District 4J public schools.

The event included student performers from Sheldon High School's Band and the North Eugene High School Ukulele Class. Student chefs from North Eugene High School Catering made pastries for dessert. The Madison Middle School Woodworking Class constructed UO- and OSU-themed cornhole boards as prizes in the raffle. It was wonderful to experience the joy and talent of these students. May Walston was the recipient of the Leadership in Education award for her dedicated service to 4j schools.

Rowell Brokaw is proud to have been a sponsor of the event. The money raised will fund innovative classroom grants, exciting educational programs, and essential tools for teachers and students.
