Carly Bushman
Architect
Carly closely collaborates with project teams, owners, and end-users to envision and implement designs that connect people to their built environment. She deftly fuses technical detail with design intent as she guides projects from initial programming through documentation and construction. Carly has worked on a wide range of project types, including multi-family housing, early learning centers, K-12 schools, and various commercial and public projects.
Originally from Denver, Carly obtained a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon. Since graduating, she has been a committee member for Diversity in Design and helped launch “Formation: The Design Mentorship Collaborative,” a mentorship program for college students and design professionals identifying as black, indigenous, and/or people of color. Before joining Rowell Brokaw, Carly worked for Ankrom Moisan in Portland and PIVOT Architecture in Eugene.
